The College of Law of National Taipei University was established in 1952. After going through the reorganization, the elevation of status, the establishment e of the Graduate Institute and the integration of three departments (Department of Jurisprudence, Department of Judicature and Department of Economic and Financial Law), it becomes one of the colleges in Taiwan with the long-standing history, as well as the largest faculty and student body. NTPU College of Law just celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2012.
The faculty of law consists of renowned scholars who obtained their doctoral degree from the U.S., German, Japan , France and Taiwan respectively. Our faculty is committed to helping students become lawyers with multi-professional talent in legal theories and practices, with the character of respecting legal ethics, and with the kindness of concerning about the underprivileged in the society. For the purpose of keeping pace with the social development and transition, we positively provide interdisciplinary courses, hold international conferences, and push forward the Joint -degree and Students Exchange programs, so as to cultivate a global perspective for our students. We also spare no effort to build a deeper connection between the College of Law and its alumni network.
