Founded in 1881, the University of Liverpool has over 22,000 students, offering more than 400 undergraduate and postgraduate programs. With students from over 160 countries, it is a renowned research-intensive university in the UK. Dean Valsamis Mitsilegas has a wealth of academic and administrative experience, having published numerous scholarly works and conducted in-depth research on European affairs, particularly the European Union.
During the exchange, faculty members discussed the integration of digital evidence, emerging technologies, environmental law, and other topics bridging academia and practice. We also explored possibilities for future collaboration, including short-term visits, student exchanges, and summer intensive courses.
After a fruitful and enjoyable conversation, our faculty members led Dean Valsamis Mitsilegas and guests from the Judges Academy to visit our Center for Comparative Law Documentation and moot courtrooms. This meeting not only strengthened our connection with the Judges Academy but also fostered new international friendships, providing more opportunities for international interaction for both faculty and students.
