Established in 2003, ASLI dedicates to promote research in Asian law and facilitate communication among Asian law schools. The annual conference organized by ASLI is the world's largest symposium centered around Asian law.
This year, ASLI held its 20th-anniversary conference at the National University of Singapore. Vice Dean Hsiao-Wei Kuan led a delegation from our law school, including Assistant Professor Bo-Shone Fu and Assistant Professor Yi-Chen Lo, to present research findings. The topics included the localization process of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights for Taiwanese women, a study on the position of legal consciousness in labor law, and methods of interpreting legal discourse.
